My Sacramento Turn Verein Soccer Club is planning to field an over 70 men’s team for the Mayor’s Gold Cup tournament in January, 2020. I know some over 70 teams had players under 68 years of age this most recent tournament. Please clarify what the age restriction will be next year: must the exception age player be 68 years old before the tournament starts, before the final tournament day, the end of January, or what? I would like to enforce the rule for our team, whatever it is.

Also, do you have an idea as to what teams will be playing in the over 70 division? I understand a new team from Central CA will also be participating in addition to my Sacramento team.
